Douglas A. Loesel, CPCU
President / CEO / Treasurer
is a life resident of Erie earning a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State in 1978. He joined Loesel-Schaaf Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1979 and received the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Designation in 1983.
Doug became a principal in the agency in 1988 and recently became President effective January 1, 2001.

Michael Beuchert, CLU, LUTCF
Vice President / Secretary
is a lifelong Erie resident and graduate of Gannon University. He has been in the Insurance business since 1972.
Mike joined the Loesel-Schaaf Insurance Agency, Inc. as a producer in 1983. He is a registered representative of the National Association of Security Dealers.

Edward C. Althof, CLU, CEBS
Vice-President
has been a resident of Erie all of his life. A graduate of Thiel College, he entered the insurance profession in 1974 and received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) Designation in 1979.
Ed has specialized in employee benefit plans and received his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Designation from the Wharton School.

Eric J. Consiglio, RHU
Vice-President/Assistant Secretary
has recently been named partner and appointed Vice-President of Loesel-Schaaf Insurance Agency, Inc. Graduating from West Virginia University in 1995 with a BS in Finance.
Eric has been a sales/representative for Loesel-Schaaf's Employee Benefits Department since 1996 and received the Registered Health Underwriter designation from the American College in 2000.

Kathleen Aranyos
Assistant Vice-President
Joined our agency in 1992 after six years with The Travelers Managed Care and Employee Benefits Operations. Kathy is the Manager of our Employee Benefits Department and became a Principal and Assistant Vice-President of Loesel-Schaaf in January, 2002.
She has worked in sales and service of employee benefit plans since 1980 for groups that range in size of 2 to 2,500 employees. Kathy received certification, with honors, from the Health Insurance Institute of America in 1987 and has taken adult education courses at Gannon University toward a Business Administration degree. Kathy is an active Board Member for the Purple Martin Conservation Association and is Chairman of their Planning and Development Committee.
