A native of Pittsburgh PA, Joe started his insurance career with the Travelers immediately following college.  After 15 years, Joe purchased the Doyle and Peffer Agencies in 1987 and operated the combined agency until his merger with Loesel-Schaaf in 1991. 

Joe received his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) in 2000. 

Joe has served on many non-profit boards and is very active in the community. 

Joe has been an avid sailor most of his adult life.  He is also a collector, with a special interest in clocks and toy trains.
